EIB contributes to research on impact of extreme weather conditions on European transport networks

Brussels, 02/02/2010 (Agence Europe) - In a press release at the end of January, the European Investment Bank (EIB) announced that the EU Consultative Board, of which it is a member, has just launched a research project to study the effects of extreme weather events on the safety and reliability of transport systems.
