08/01/2010 (Agence Europe) - After 47 years as a weekly publication, the English language magazine The Bulletin has, since 7 January, become monthly. “Over the past year, the media sector has been severely hit by the fallout from the global financial crisis”, so that “we have tried to rethink what we do, taking into account changing media consumption habits”, explained Editor-in-Chief Derek Blyth. The Bulletin will continue to write about the many issues that affect the international community living and working in Brussels. At the same time, a new weekly magazine, Brussels Unlimited, will be launched, providing basic information and sharp recommendations on what is on offer culturally in Brussels and in Belgium. The weekly will be published every Thursday, and the monthly will come out at the beginning of the month. (I.L./transl.rt)
