30/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - According to a flash estimate issued by Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Communities, on Friday 30 October, the euro area annual inflation rate is expected to be -0.1% in October 2009. In September, the rate was -0.3%. This makes five consecutive months that the consumer price index in the euro area has fallen. (L.C./transl.jl)
