30/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 30 October, the European Commission decided not to examine acquisition of joint control by SNCF (France) and CDPQ (Quebec, Canada) of the French companies, Keolis and EFFIA. It chose rather to refer examination of the merger to the French competition authority. The operation consists in joint takeover by SNCF and the Caisse de Dépôt et de Placement du Québec (CDPQ) and the company Keolis, specialised in bus and coach public passenger transport, and...
