30/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 30 October, EU heads of state and government noted preparatory work carried out with a view to entry into force of the Lisbon Treaty. They also approved the report by the Swedish EU Presidency on implementing the European External Action Service (EEAS) as approved by the General Affairs Council last Monday (the latest version, summarised in EUROPE 10005, therefore remains unchanged).
