16/01/2004 (Agence Europe) - In an interview to the Frankfurter Allegemeine Zeitung, the president of the Court of Justice of the Communities, Vassilios Skouris, when asked about the failure of the IGC, replied that this would "be very important, from a symbolic point of view, that Europe, and this is my personal opinion, was able to have such a Constitution, but that this is not something of vital importance for continuing to go forward". Mr Skouris was against a multi-speed Europe, stating that "As a Greek, I can say that personally that it was very welcome that there had not been two-speeds". He pointed out that Greece had succeeded in joining the Euro.
