24/06/2015 (Agence Europe) - EU-Georgia and EU-Moldova agreements examined at WTO. During its meeting on Monday 22 June, the WTO committee on regional trade agreements completed its oral discussions on the two free trade agreements concluded in July 2013 as part of the association agreements between the EU and Georgia, and the EU and Moldova. The agreements cover trade in goods and services. The WTO committee's discussions were fed by factual presentations by the WTO secretariat, written questions from WTO member countries, and responses from the parties to the agreements. The EU and Moldova responded to written questions from Canada, Colombia, Mexico and Thailand. The EU and Georgia responded to written questions from Colombia, Mexico and Thailand. (EH)
