Brussels, 08/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - Commissioners Olli Rehn (enlargement) and Jacques Barrot (justice/freedom/security) held talks with the Turkish negotiator for membership talks, Egemen Bagis, as well as with Turkish Justice Minister Sadullah Ergin, on Wednesday 7 October in Brussels. Discussion focused on preparation of the 2009 progress report, to be presented by the Commission next week (14 October), as well as on the state of progress of membership talks.
