European Parliament calls for emergency measures to restore stability in dairy market and criticises Commission's handling of crisis

Brussels, 17/09/2009 (Agence Europe) - Efforts made thus far to help the dairy sector have been insufficient and more will have to be done if thousands of farmers are not to go out of business. That, in short, is the message sent by a resolution on the dairy crisis that the European Parliament adopted in Strasbourg on Thursday 17 September.
