Sixteen EU countries request “new tough measures” to support milk producers

Brussels, 07/09/2009 (Agence Europe) - In a joint statement made on Monday 7 September in Brussels, agriculture ministers from 16 EU countries (Germany and France as the front runners, as well as Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia) declared that “existing measures…are not enough to improve the situation facing farmers.
