Brussels, 02/07/2009 (Agence Europe) - Application of European consumer law has made great strides over the last two years thanks to an EU-wide network of public authorities enforcing consumer rules taking coordinated action against infringements and those operating cross-border “scams”. There remains, however, much to be done to improve the effectiveness of the network and extend the cooperation.
