Deutsche Bahn acquires logistics operations of PCC SE in Poland

Brussels, 12/06/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 12 June, the European Commission authorised plans by the German railway company, Deutsche Bahn AG (DB), to acquire logistics activities carried out in Poland by the German company PCC SE.

DB is the German public railway company. PCC SE carries out logistics activities in Poland, mainly through the Polish companies PCC RAIL S.A., PCC Rail Rybnik S.A. and Trawipol Sp. z o.o (PCC Logistics). These activities mainly concern the rail sector, and...
