Brussels, 14/04/2009 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to take Belgium to the European Court of Justice for having refused exemptions to the European institutions from charges imposed when urban planning permission for its buildings was granted.
The decision of the Brussels-Capital regional government on 12 June 2003 deems that all construction or office building extensions measuring over 500 m2 in surface area be subject to urban planning charges.
