10/03/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 10 March, the European Parliament approved the Council's urgent request concerning the proposal (dating back to 26 February) for a regulation relating to a multiannual plan for recovery of bluefin tuna stocks in the eastern Atlantic and the Mediterranean (EUROPE 9849). The plenary vote will be held on Thursday 12 March. The Council has made this request as transposal into Community law of this revised plan to safeguard bluefin tuna must come about...
