Visit by 15 MEPs to assess damage and people's living conditions

Brussels, 24/02/2009 (Agence Europe) - Luisa Morgantini, Vice-President of the European Parliament and a member of the United Left (GUE/NGL) will lead a delegation of 15 MEPs from different political families to the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and Israel on 25 February-1 March. The visit to Gaza will have a humanitarian dimension and include visits to hospitals, schools and workplaces. It will be supervised by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East...
