24/02/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 24 February, the EU and the government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan signed a civil aviation agreement which will restore the legal certainty of bilateral air services agreements between Pakistan and EU member states. “The agreement recognises that airlines in the EU are not any longer national airlines but Community airlines,” said Commission Vice-President Antonio Tajani.
