12/02/2009 (Agence Europe) - During its meeting on Wednesday evening 11 February in Brussels, the Committee of the Regions Bureau extended the mandate of the Secretary General for a further five years. Gehard Stahl is from Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and previously worked in the cabinets of Monika Wulf-Mathies and Pedro Solbes. (G.B./trans/rh)
