PES launches election campaign and targets its policies that fundamentally differ from those of right

Brussels, 11/02/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the president of the Party of European Socialists (PES), Poul Nyrup Rasmussen, announced that they would be going on the offensive in a very politicised campaign for next June's European elections. They will specifically strive to clearly differentiate their fundamental political differences with those of the European “right” (particularly the European People's Party (EPP) and the Liberals of the ELDR).
