Commission publishes list of aviation operators to be included in ETS from 1 January 2012

Brussels, 11/02/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 11 February, the European Commission published an initial list of civil aviation operators to be included in the emissions trading system (ETS) from 1 January 2012, to take part in the fight against climate change, by virtue of directive 2008/101/EC, which was adopted on 24 October last year (and which modifies directive 2003/87/EC).
