11/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - Following an investigation opened on 5 September 2007, the European Commission has established that there was dumping of monosodium glutamate from the People's Republic of China, which harmed the Community industry. The Commission has, therefore, just put a proposal to the Council to impose a definitive anti-dumping duty and to collect definitively the provisional duty imposed on imports of monosodium glutamate from China. The rate of definitive anti-dumping duty is from 33.8% to 39.7% depending on the company.
