Slovenia receives aid of €8.25 million from EU after severe flooding in 2007

Brussels, 11/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - Commissioner for Regional Policy Danuta Hübner and the Slovenian minister for local administration and regional policy, Ivan Zagar, signed an implementing agreement in Brussels on Tuesday 11 November confirming €8.25 million in aid for the Slovenian areas worst hit by the severe floods in September 2007. Ms Hübner said the Commission would earmark another €185 million for flood prevention projects within the framework of the European Union's...
