10/11/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Defence Agency decided on Monday 10 November to create a pan-European forum for airworthiness military authorities. The Forum, which should see light of day after 2013, will allow national military airworthiness rules to be harmonised in order to avoid duplication, reduce costs (nearly 20% according to EDA estimates) and shorten delays for multilateral acquisitions.
