MSF leaves Iriba for financial reasons

Iriba, 03/11/2008 (Agence Europe) -Humanitarian workers present in the region of Wadi Fira (East Chad) have announced that it was not security reasons which led MSF (Médecins sans frontiers or Doctors without Borders) to leave the town of Iriba and the refugee camp of Iridimi, where MSF-Luxembourg had set up a hospital and health centre, in May 2008. According to two independent humanitarian sources, their departure was due to an internal problem, related to the reduction in staff salaries....
