Brussels, 07/10/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 7 October, the European Parliament's constitutional affairs committee began the debate on the draft report prepared by Andrew Duff (ADLE, United Kingdom), which aims to reform procedures and rules applicable to the European elections as from 2014. The objective is to improve the EP's image, reduce divergences between member states' electoral procedures and make the Parliament more accountable to the citizens it represents, explained Mr Duff...
