Brussels, 17/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has launched a public consultation exercise, to run until 28 November on the harmonisation of solvency rules applicable to some Institutions for Occupational Retirement Provision (IORPs): those covered by the arrangements of Article 17 of the Capital Requirements Directive (2003/41/EC) governing the activities and monitoring of IORPs operating on a cross-border basis.
