Appeal for safer internet for children

Brussels, 17/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's committee on civil liberties adopted a report on Monday 15 September by Italian MEP Roberta Angelilli (UEN) on protecting children using the internet (pornographic or violent content, risk of harassment). The EP is working in codecision on the proposal on a “Safer Internet plus” programme (2009-2013), adopted by the European Commission in February 2008 (EUROPE 9611).
