Brussels, 15/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - On 15 September in Brussels, EU27 foreign affairs ministers decided against expanding the list of targeted EU sanctions against Robert Mugabe, his regime and those responsible for violence during the presidential elections in Zimbabwe. The project for extending CFSP sanctions, initially planned for adoption without debate, has been withdrawn from the agenda.
