TSO, RTE, ELIA and National Grid launch consultation to assess opportunities for strengthening Franco-British interconnection

Brussels, 09/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - Transition System Operators (TSO) for the RTE (France), ELIA from Belgium and the British National Grid launched a consultation on Monday 8 September into the electricity market, in an effort to assess opportunities for strengthening interconnection capacities between the United and mainland Europe, through an additional interconnection with France.
