09/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 9 September, the Serbian parliament ratified the stabilisation and association agreement (SAA) signed with the EU on 29 April this year (EUROPE 9653). The Commission welcomed this and once again called on member states to immediately implement the interim agreement (also signed in April), which would allow the SAA trade chapter to be applied without having to wait for ratification by the EU27.
