CEPS report says Frontex must pay greater attention to fundamental rights

Brussels, 01/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - The European External Border Management Cooperation Agency Frontex should pay greater attention to immigrants' rights in its work, says a report published on 19 August 2008 by the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS).

The report analyses the European Commission's assessment and future plans for Frontex, and the introduction of Eurosur, an EU border surveillance system. The report directly refers to a package of measures unveiled by the Commission...
