01/09/2008 (Agence Europe) - To assist in the fight against climate change, the EU in August granted 2.3 million EUR to the POBICOS ("Platform for opportunistic behaviour in incompletely specified, heterogeneous object communities") project, which aims to develop a platform to facilitate the integration of low-energy applications in European households. The project, which will last three years, is led by the VTT technical research Centre of Finland. (B.C./trans.fl)
