01/09/2008 (Agence Europe) -Under the seventh framework programme for research in the EU (7th FPR), 2.3 million EUR has been awarded over a period of three years to an experiment which will examine the influence of cosmic rays on the climate of our planet. This experiment, entitled "Cosmic rays leaving outdoor droplets - Initial Training Network" (CLOUD-ITN), started in August and is coordinated by the Goethe University of Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany.
