01/09/2008 (Agence Europe) -During the month of August, the seventh framework programme for research (7th FPR) granted the sum of 14 million to the "euHeart" project, of a duration of four years. Its objective is to improve the diagnosis, therapy and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The consortium is made up of private and public partners from 16 research bodies and representatives of the industrial, university and medical circles of six European countries. (B.C./trans.fl)
