Skopje wants EU accession talks to start but its relations with Greece are complicating matters

Brussels, 29/07/2008 (Agence Europe) - The new Macedonian government of Nikola Gruevski, which was sworn in on 26 July 2008 in Skopje (the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, FYROM) 'will work day and night to become a member of the European Union and NATO' explained Gruevski in a government statement about aims to speed up the accession process.
