RTE, French TSO, presents European initiatives

Brussels, 22/07/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 17 July, RTE, the French electricity transmission system operator (TSO), published a document for the press on its European initiatives. RTE has provided a public service mission in France since February 2000 and is responsible for ensuring the physical distribution of electricity throughout national territory, for facilitating the working of the French electricity grid, and for accompanying market opening.
