European Fisheries Office opens up in Vigo (Spain)

Brussels, 18/07/2008 (Agence Europe) - The EU Fisheries Control Agency will be opening its new headquarters in Vigo, Spain on 19 July 2008. Established in 2002, the agency started working at the start of 2007 at provisional headquarters in Brussels.

The opening address at the launch ceremony will be made by EU Fisheries and Maritime Affairs Commissioner Joe Borg, attended by Spanish farm and fisheries minister Elena Espinosa. The EU Fisheries Control Agency organises coordination and...
