Strasbourg, 11/07/2008 (Agence Europe) - In Strasbourg on Thursday 10 July, the European Parliament adopted a resolution on the case of Troy Davis (sentenced to death by the State of Georgia in 1991 for the murder of a police officer, and due to be executed at the end of July 2008), once again calling for the abolition of the death penalty in all countries.
