Brussels, 11/07/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 9 July, the European Parliament adopted the report by Richard Corbett (PES, UK) amending EP standing orders on the formation of political groups. The new rules approved on Wednesday will mean that, after the European elections of June 2009, a minimum of 25 members from at least 7 different member states will be required to constitute a political group.
