MEPs approve changes to European neighbourhood instrument

Brussels, 08/07/2008 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption of the report by Jacek Saryusz-Wolski (EPP-ED, Poland), the European Parliament approved, on Tuesday 8 July, at first reading (codecision procedure), the European Commission's proposal dating back to 21 May concerning amendment of Regulation 1638/2006 on the European neighbourhood and partnership instrument.
