Commission authorises buy-up of Hispasat by Abertis, SEPI, CDTI and INTA

Brussels, 27/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday 26 June 2008, the European Commission authorised acquisition of joint control over Spain's satellite operator Hispasat by Abertis of Spain and the Spanish state-owned entities SEPI, CDTI and INTA. Abertis is active in motorway concessions, car park concessions, logistics services and telecommunications infrastructure. Its main shareholders are Actividades de Construcción y Servicios S.A. (ACS) and Caja de Ahorros y Pensiones de Barcelona...
