26/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - The Italian interior minister, Roberto Maroni, confirmed on Wednesday 25 June that his country was prepared to share with Libya the costs of a radar system on the Libyan coast designed to stem illegal immigration to Sicily. He revealed that the Italian prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi, will discuss this issue in his meeting with the Libyan leader, Muammar Gaddafi, on Friday in Tripoli (EUROPE 9690). (B.C./transl.fl)
