26/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - A new Council of Europe publication was released on Wednesday 25 June on secret detentions and illegal transfers of detainees orchestrated by the CIA. The book, entitled “CIA above the law? Secret detentions and unlawful inter-state transfers of detainees in Europe” and published in French and English, details the investigations led by Dick Marty into this affair and presents the legal opinion of the Venice Commission.
