Somewhat sceptical MEPs listen to Commission's proposals to counter increase in oil prices

Brussels, 18/06/2008 (Agence Europe) -With farmers, lorry drivers and taxi drivers demonstrating in the middle of Brussels against high fuel prices on Wednesday 18 June, the European Parliament was debating with the Council and the Commission the main elements of the recent communication on possible responses to the increase in crude oil prices (EUROPE 9680 and EUROPE Documents 2493).
