EPAs which include services can aggravate reductions in fish stocks and food crisis in Senegal, warns ActionAid

Brussels, 18/06/2008 (Agence Europe) - According to ActionAid International, Economic Partnership Agreements which include services and investment between the EU and West Africa represent a serious threat to the food security of millions of people in countries like Senegal, in that they allow inclusion of rules that could exacerbate over-exploitation of fish stocks by European vessels.
