Brussels, 16/05/2008 (Agence Europe) - The Vth summit between the European Union and the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean opened, on Friday 16 May, in the Peruvian capital with two main themes on its agenda: - the fight against poverty, inequality and social exclusion; and sustainable development and energy policies and the fight against climate change (see EUROPE 9655 and 9597).
