07/05/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 7 may 2008, the Commission granted clearance to the acquisition of sole control of Getty Images, Inc. of the US by Abe Investment, LP of the US, controlled by Hellman & Friedman Capital Partners VI, LP (HFCP), also of the US. The operation was examined under the simplified merger review procedure. (C.D.)
