25/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - The Austrian parliament ratified the Lisbon Treaty on 24 April, making it the 11th country to have entirely completed the ratification procedure for the new treaty. Only two parties of the far right (BZÖ and the FPÖ) voted against. On 24 April the Senate in the Czech Republic decided to ask the opinion of the Constitutional Court on the Lisbon Treaty, which risks holding up its ratification. The Court will give its opinion in the summer. (H.B.)
