EESC rejects opinion on bottlenecks due to somewhat anti-social and anti-environmental nature

Brussels, 25/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - During its April plenary session, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) adopted all the opinions on its agenda (EUROPE 9648) except one: that on “bottlenecks in transport” by Jan Simons, who chairs the Dutch Transport Industries' Liaison Committee (NVO) and holds an honorary professorship for transport economy at the Free University of Amsterdam.
