08/04/2008 (Agence Europe) - On 8 April, the European Commission gave clearance to the proposed concentration by which FCC Construcción S.A. (“FCC”, Spain) and Allgemeine Baugesellschaft - A. Porr Aktiengesellschaft (“PORR”, Austria) plan to acquire joint control of Sever-Jg Autoput d.o.o; (“Autoput”, Serbia), currently solely controlled by FCC, by way of purchase of shares. FCC's business activities are in the construction, services, cement and real estate sectors; PQRR in construction, building materials and project development; and Autoput in design, construction, operation and maintenance of the Horgos-Požega highway in Serbia.
