Parliament advances with caution in Common Agricultural Policy Health Check

Strasbourg, 12/03/2008 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 12 March, in Strasbourg, the European Parliament decreed that the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) should not be too messed about during its “health check”. Also, with the adoption of the report by Luz Goepel (CDU) on this issue by a very comfortable majority (510 votes for, 88 against and 88 abstentions), the European Parliament cautiously supported the ideas of the European Commission set out in its communication six months...
